At Ray and Elaine Treats we provide comfortable accommodation, home cooked meals, refreshments AND a bespoke craft studio for you to be your creative best.

Whether booking a full retreat, mini treat or a make and take workshop, you can craft to your hearts content for the duration of your time with us.

For those who would like to share the experience with their partner, we have that covered too! Elaine teaches crafts that use soft materials and Ray teaches DIY and crafts that use solid materials. We can also create RE Treats that are tailored specifically to your needs, contact us if you have an idea in mind.

Craft to your heart's content or take some time out to explore the beautiful port city of Plymouth. Shops, beaches and moors are a short drive away or visit the Barbican or Hoe for a speciality ice cream but don’t forget to call into Barbican Fabrics too.

You could visit Make 140 at The Royal William Yard or even Hobbycraft in the city centre!

It’s no problem if you forget to bring something you need for a project as help is always at hand.

Ray and Elaine have years of experience in various crafts. Not only will you receive a warm welcome upon arrival but you have the option of dedicated time and space to work on your own project or to participate in a workshop and develop your own skills.

Elaine teaches hand knitting, crochet, machine sewing and embroidery, quilting and patchwork, dressmaking, hand sewing and embroidery, free motion embroidery, digital cutting (Cricut), combined craft projects, how to plan, design and complete projects, colour classes and basic CAD skills.

Ray teaches crafts and trade skills too such as; carpentry, welding, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating, car / bike / boat maintenance and uses a combination of these skills in all of his projects.
