Digital crafting takes craft to the next level! It enables the crafter to explore possibilities outside of their capabilities. For example, if you find drawing challenging and are used to tracing designs, you can make a stencil with a digital cutter or even cut out the design itself! There are several machines on the market but here at RE Treats we use Cricut. If you are intrigued to see what they can do or just want to come and play, book onto one of our workshops today. Elaine is an official Cricut affiliate and receives special offers and discounts to pass on. For the latest offers, click on the button below.

There are so many projects involving paper and card. As well as designing your own projects, you can find lots of information and files on existing projects such as: all types of celebratory cards, flowers, notebooks and journal designs, planner pages, stickers, lampshades, 3d shapes, jigsaw puzzles, surprise boxes, business paraphernalia, bookmarks, puppets, scrapbooking and collages.
One of our favourite projects at RE Treats is creating our own journal books. You can even make the book too! If you would rather purchase a journal, have a look at the beautiful designs available on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3vcsBqz

Adhesive vinyl is a fabulous way of creating bespoke decorations, personalised items and homewares. The vinyl is available in a multitude of colours and textures as well as in permanent or removable form. Most permanent vinyls are suitable for use outdoors as well as indoors making personalisation of vehicles, gardens and businesses easier than ever before.
Some of our favourite workshops have included: vinyl wall art, canvases, personalised glasses and mugs, mobile phone vinyls and welcome signs.

HTV has so many purposes and is a fabulous alternative to adhesive vinyl. HTV is mostly used on fabric products such as: clothes, bags, shoes and hats. It can also be used on wood. HTV contains a glue that bonds the vinyl to the product so that it is safe to wash without the HTV peeling off.
Almost any design can be used with HTV and if you are stuck for ideas yourself, there are plenty available on the internet. You can now have truly personalised items and if you enjoy dressmaking, this can take your ideas to the next level. If you like the idea of exploring HTV, also have a look at sublimination - Cricut call this 'infusible ink' and their range can be found here: https://shrsl.com/3got3

If you have always wanted to design your own mug, Cricut make it super easy. You can either use permanent vinyl (mugs are not dishwasher safe) or infusible ink (mugs are dishwasher safe). If you have never experimented with vinyl before, we recommend making your first mug design in vinyl so that you get used to the techniques involved in creating and finalising the design. Once you are familiar with the techniques, using infusible ink is much easier.

Most Cricut machiines can cut, score, emboss and foil. Some Cricut machines can also cut bonded fabric and engrave too. If you are into a variety of crafts and are thinking about purchasing a Cricut or upgrading, visit the Cricut site through this link: https://shrsl.com/3gowe
