


If you would like to be able to personalise clothing items and / or homewares but don't know where to start, this is the workshop for you. NB: you must have your own embroidery machine to bring to this workshop.
During the workshop you will learn how to use the functions of your machine to set up, size, position and embroider a design. In addition you will also learn about the different types of stabilizer, why they are needed and how to get the best results from your machine.

Did you know that embroidery machines can create 2D and 3D designs as well as enhancing a whole range of items?
These designs are called 'Free standing embroideries' for obvious reasons. Not only do they look beautiful but they can also look very complicated. However, they are very simple to create - most use thread and stabilizer although some designs also contain organza fabric too.
If you would like to learn how to create free standing embroideries our workshop lasts approximately 2 hours and costs £60. We will supply patterns and stabilizer.
